Data

Request a review and deletion of information under The Social Solitude’s control.

Effective:

01

How to make a request

  1. From the Instagram account connected to the information, send a DM to @thesocialsolitude.
  2. Begin the message with “Data deletion request” and briefly identify the conversation or information you want us to review.
  3. Keep the request in that DM thread so our team can match it to the relevant conversation. We may ask for limited, non-secret details if needed to avoid acting on the wrong account.
  4. We will review the systems under our control, take the available deletion or de-identification steps, and reply in the same DM thread with the outcome or any limitation.
Never send a password or code.

We do not need your password, OTP, login cookie or access token to process a deletion request.

02

What the request covers

The request covers information in the Instagram DM assistance workflow that The Social Solitude can control, including relevant Codex task history and local monitoring records where they can be safely matched to the request.

The local monitor does not keep raw DM text, names, usernames, profile photos or attachments. It keeps only minimal timestamps, hashes of technical identifiers, draft status and operational decisions. Because hashes are not raw identifiers, a particular local record may not always be safely attributable to a requester; if that prevents a specific deletion, we will explain the limitation.

03

Instagram, Meta and OpenAI copies

A request to The Social Solitude does not automatically erase every copy held by a separate provider:

  • Instagram / Meta: use the current Instagram controls to remove messages or conversations from your account and the current Meta/Instagram connected-app controls if you want to revoke the app connection. Meta determines what is removed from or retained in its systems.
  • OpenAI / Codex: The Social Solitude will address task history it controls. Any provider-retained copy remains subject to OpenAI’s applicable service and workspace settings.

Provider interfaces and retention settings can change. If you need to act on a provider-held copy, use that provider’s current privacy or account controls.

04

What happens next

A team member reviews each request rather than processing it automatically. We will use the original DM thread for updates. If we cannot verify the correct scope, cannot match a hash-only record, or cannot remove a provider-controlled copy, we will describe that limitation instead of requesting secret credentials.

Deleting information already processed does not by itself stop future DMs from entering the workflow. To avoid future processing, do not send further DMs and revoke the connected app through the current Meta/Instagram account controls if that connection belongs to you.
